Description

Crispy, golden Air Fryer Banana Peppers made with simple pantry ingredients. An easy snack or appetizer that’s crunchy, comforting, and ready in minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder

  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper

  • 2 teaspoons sea salt

  • 1 lb fresh banana peppers or sweet peppers, sliced and seeds removed

  • Olive oil spray

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, ground black pepper, and sea salt.

  2. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F.

  3. Dip the sliced banana peppers into the seasoned flour until fully coated. Let them rest for 5 minutes so the coating adheres.

  4. Arrange the coated peppers in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Lightly spray both sides with olive oil.

  5. Air fry for 8 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.

  6. Transfer to a paper towel–lined plate and let cool for 5 minutes before serving. Serve with ranch dressing if desired.

Notes

Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket to keep the peppers crispy.

For extra flavor, add paprika or cayenne pepper to the flour mixture.

Best served fresh, but leftovers can be reheated in the air fryer.
