Description

Air Fryer Calzones are a quick and cozy dinner made with pizza dough, sauce, mozzarella, and pepperoni. They cook up golden brown, crispy outside, and melty inside, making them perfect for busy weeknights or easy family meals.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella
  • 4 oz pepperoni

Instructions

  1. Divide the pizza dough into 4 equal pieces.
  2. Roll or press each piece into a small pizza shape.
  3. Spread pizza sauce over half of each dough round, leaving the edges clean.
  4. Add a layer of mozzarella, then pepperoni, then a little more mozzarella.
  5. Fold the clean side of the dough over the filling to make a half-circle.
  6. Crimp the edges with your fingers or a fork to seal well.
  7. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil.
  8. Place the calzones in the basket in batches, leaving space between them.
  9. Air fry at 375°F for 7 to 10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown.
  10. Serve warm with extra pizza sauce if desired.

Notes

  • Do not overfill the calzones or they may burst while cooking.
  • Seal the edges well to keep the cheese and sauce inside.
  • Cook in batches for the best crisp texture.
