Instructions
Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
In a small bowl, mix Cajun seasoning, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper into a paste.
Rub the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the salmon.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat with a little olive oil.
Cook salmon skin-side down for 4–5 minutes, then flip and cook another 3–4 minutes until flaky and cooked through.
Remove salmon from heat and let rest for a few minutes.
Add avocados, sour cream, lime juice, cilantro, garlic, salt, and cayenne to a blender or food processor.
Blend until smooth, adding water as needed to reach desired consistency.
Flake the salmon and serve with rice, beans, corn, or tortillas. Drizzle generously with avocado lime crema and finish with lime wedges.
Notes
Adjust Cajun seasoning to control spice level.
Greek yogurt can be used for a lighter sauce.
The avocado lime crema can be made up to 24 hours ahead and stored refrigerated.
Great for bowls, tacos, or meal prep.
