Ingredients
4 chicken fillets (about 1.5 lbs or 680 g)
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt, to taste
Pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
1 bag fries (frozen or homemade, about 32 oz or 900 g)
Instructions
Prepare the Fries:
Bake frozen fries according to package directions until crispy, or make homemade fries by cutting potatoes, tossing in olive oil, salt, and pepper, and baking at 425°F (220°C) for 30–35 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Cook the Chicken Fillets:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
Cook for 6–7 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked (165°F internal temperature). Remove from skillet and set aside.
Make the Creamy Garlic Parmesan Sauce:
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes.
Continue cooking for 2–3 minutes, stirring, until sauce thickens slightly. Season with salt and pepper.
Combine Chicken and Sauce:
Return chicken fillets to the skillet. Spoon the sauce over the top and simmer together for 2–3 minutes, allowing flavors to meld.
Serve and Enjoy:
Serve hot with crispy fries (or rice). Garnish with fresh parsley and drizzle with extra sauce for extra flavor!
Notes
Adjust spice level by adding more or less red pepper flakes.
Substitute heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter version.
Add spinach or sun-dried tomatoes for a veggie boost.
Pairs wonderfully with mashed potatoes, pasta, or steamed vegetables too
