Ingredients
6 Bagel Crisps
1 small can Tomato Sauce
1/4 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1/2 teaspoon Oregano
1/4 teaspoon Sweet Basil
1/2 cup Mozzarella Cheese, grated or string cheese strips
1 can large Ripe Olives, whole, pitted
Instructions
Prepare the Sauce – Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a saucepan, simmer tomato sauce, garlic powder, oregano, and basil for 5 minutes (or microwave for 2 minutes).
Grate the Cheese – Cut mozzarella into thin strips (or peel string cheese).
Assemble the Bases – Place bagel crisps on a baking sheet and spread 1 tablespoon of sauce on each.
Create the Webs – Arrange cheese strips in spiderweb patterns on top.
Make the Spiders – Slice olives in half for bodies and into small pieces for legs or eyes. Arrange creatively.
Bake – Cook for 10–15 minutes, until cheese is melted and slightly golden.
Serve & Enjoy – Cool slightly, then serve warm with extra dipping sauce if desired.
Notes
Make Ahead: Assemble bites up to 6 hours in advance and refrigerate until ready to bake.
Kid-Friendly Tip: Let kids design their own webs and add spiders—it’s a fun family activity.
Variations: Swap bagel crisps with mini pitas, English muffin halves, or gluten-free crackers.
