Description
This Crockpot Chocolate Lava Cake is a rich, gooey slow cooker dessert made with cake mix, pudding, and chocolate chips. Easy, cozy, and perfect for chocolate lovers.
Ingredients
1 box chocolate cake mix 15.25 oz
1 box instant chocolate pudding mix 3.9 oz
1 1/4 cups whole milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
3 large eggs
2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
Generously spray the inside of your slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray.
In a large bowl or stand mixer, combine the cake mix, pudding mix, milk, oil, and eggs.
Beat on low speed for 1 minute, then increase to medium and mix for 2 to 3 minutes until smooth and glossy.
Pour the batter into the prepared slow cooker and spread evenly.
Sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly over the top. Do not stir.
Cover and cook on low for about 2 1/2 hours, until the top is set and the center is gooey.
Spoon into bowls and serve warm.
Notes
Do not overcook or the lava center will firm up.
Every slow cooker runs differently, so check around the 2-hour mark.
Delicious served with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
