Description

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 1 tbsp minced garlic

  • 2 cups chicken broth (low sodium or homemade)

  • 8 oz cream cheese, cubed

  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

  • 12 oz pasta (penne, rotini, or fusilli)

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream or half-and-half

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional garnish)


Instructions

  1. Season and Layer: Place chicken breasts in the crockpot. Sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

  2. Add Key Ingredients: Add chicken broth, minced garlic, cubed cream cheese, and Parmesan over the chicken.

  3. Cook: Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours or HIGH for 2–3 hours, until chicken is fully cooked and tender.

  4. Shred Chicken: Shred chicken directly in the crockpot with two forks. Stir until the sauce becomes smooth.

  5. Cook Pasta: While the chicken cooks, prepare the pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

  6. Combine and Cream: Add cooked pasta and heavy cream or half-and-half to the crockpot. Stir until fully coated and creamy.

  7. Serve: Serve warm, topped with extra Parmesan and fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

For extra richness, substitute mascarpone or Boursin cheese for cream cheese.
