Description

This Crockpot Marry Me Chicken is a rich, creamy, flavor-packed slow cooker dinner made with tender chicken breasts simmered in a luscious parmesan, garlic, and sun-dried tomato sauce. It’s comforting, effortless, and perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 46 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 1 packet Italian seasoning mix

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

  • 3/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped

  • 3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped


Instructions

  1. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika. Place in the bottom of the crockpot in a single layer.

  2. In a bowl, whisk together heavy cream, chicken broth, Italian seasoning, garlic, and red pepper flakes until smooth.

  3. Pour the mixture over the chicken. Sprinkle chopped sun-dried tomatoes on top.

  4. Cover and cook on LOW for 3–4 hours, or until chicken reaches 165°F.

  5. About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.

  6. Garnish with fresh basil and serve over rice, pasta, or mashed potatoes.

Notes

For a thicker sauce, let the chicken rest 10 minutes before serving.

Want extra veggies? Stir in a couple handfuls of spinach during the last 15 minutes of cooking.

Chicken thighs can be substituted for an even richer flavor.

Adjust red pepper flakes to your preferred heat.
