Description
This Crockpot Ranch Chicken is a creamy, comforting, melt-in-your-mouth slow cooker dinner made with simple ingredients you probably already have on hand. It’s easy, cozy, and perfect for busy weeknights when you want a homemade meal without the stress.
Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 packet ranch seasoning mix
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of your crockpot and season lightly with salt and pepper.
In a bowl, whisk together the ranch seasoning, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and chicken broth until smooth.
Pour the mixture over the chicken, making sure each piece is well coated.
Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is tender and easily shredded.
Shred or slice the chicken, stir it into the sauce, and garnish with fresh parsley.
Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, egg noodles, or your favorite sides.
Notes
For a richer sauce, stir in ½ cup shredded cheddar during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
Chicken thighs can be substituted for extra tenderness.
If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of chicken broth.
Leftovers reheat beautifully and are great for meal prep.
