Description
This No-Brainer Crockpot Slow Cooker Hot Chocolate Recipe is the ultimate cozy comfort drink. Made with just three ingredients and minimal effort, this creamy, chocolatey treat is perfect for chilly nights, family gatherings, or anytime you need a little warmth in a mug.
Ingredients
-
8 envelopes Milk Chocolate Hot Cocoa Mix (I use Swiss Miss®)
-
64 oz milk (or water, but milk makes it creamier)
Optional Toppings:
-
Whipped Dairy Cream (Reddi-wip® Original)
-
Mini chocolate chips
-
Chocolate syrup
Instructions
-
Add the hot cocoa mix envelopes and milk to your slow cooker.
-
Whisk until smooth and fully combined.
-
Cover and cook on High for 1 hour.
-
Stir well before serving.
-
Pour into mugs and top with whipped cream, chocolate chips, and chocolate syrup.
Notes
For an extra-rich flavor, try using half-and-half instead of milk.
Keep your hot chocolate warm for up to 3 hours on the “Warm” setting.
Add a splash of peppermint extract or caramel syrup for fun variations!
Great for parties — set out a topping bar with marshmallows, crushed candy canes, or sprinkles.
