Description
Tender, juicy Crockpot Steak Bites slow-cooked in a savory garlic butter sauce. Perfect for busy weeknights or as a crowd-pleasing appetizer.
Ingredients
2 lbs (900g) sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
1/4 cup beef broth
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons butter, cut into small pieces
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
Pat steak cubes dry with paper towels for better browning.
In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, onion powder, paprika, and black pepper.
Place steak cubes in the crockpot and pour marinade over. Stir to coat evenly.
Top with butter pieces.
Cook on LOW for 4–5 hours or HIGH for 2–3 hours until tender.
Garnish with parsley and serve hot over mashed potatoes, rice, or as an appetizer.
Notes
For a thicker sauce, remove steak at the end, whisk 1 tbsp cornstarch with 2 tbsp water into juices, and cook on HIGH for 10 minutes.
Chuck roast or stew meat can be used instead of sirloin but may require longer cooking.
Great served with mashed potatoes, rice, or crusty bread to soak up the sauce.
