Ingredients
1 lb broccoli florets, chopped
1 (10.5-oz) can unsalted cream of mushroom soup
1 cup refrigerated sour cream–based French onion dip
1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
1 (6-oz) container French fried onions, divided
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly spray a 9×9-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
In a large bowl, combine chopped broccoli, cream of mushroom soup, French onion dip, 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, and half of the French fried onions.
Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
Bake uncovered for 25 minutes.
Remove from the oven and top with the remaining cheese and fried onions.
Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Notes
Frozen broccoli can be used—just thaw and pat dry first.
For extra cheesiness, add an additional ½ cup cheddar to the filling.
Best served warm while the topping is crispy.
