Description
This Gluten Free Reindeer Chow is a fun, festive holiday snack mix made with Chex cereal, pretzels, popcorn, peanuts, and Christmas candies all coated in creamy melted white chocolate. It’s the perfect sweet-and-salty treat for parties, gifting, or cozy movie nights.
Ingredients
4 cups Chex cereal (certified gluten free if needed)
3 cups popcorn (fresh popped or your preferred variety)
2 cups gluten free pretzels
1 cup peanuts (salted or unsalted; optional)
1 cup red and green chocolate candies
1/3 cup Christmas sprinkles
12 oz white chocolate chips (dairy free if needed)
1 tbsp coconut oil (refined for no coconut flavor)
Instructions
Add Chex cereal, popcorn, pretzels, peanuts, and candies to a large mixing bowl.
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt white chocolate and coconut oil in 20–30 second intervals, stirring until smooth.
Pour melted chocolate over the snack mix and quickly fold to coat everything evenly.
Add Christmas sprinkles while the chocolate is still soft.
Spread mixture onto a parchment-lined sheet and allow it to cool and harden.
Break into chunks and store in an airtight container.
Notes
Omit peanuts for a nut-free version.
Add crushed candy canes, mini marshmallows, or gluten free cookies for extra texture.
Use dairy-free white chocolate to keep the recipe fully dairy free.
