Description
This Grinch Hot Chocolate is a fun holiday drink that’s creamy, colorful, and full of festive cheer. Made in the slow cooker with white chocolate, milk, and a hint of vanilla, it’s the perfect cozy treat for Christmas movie nights or parties.
Ingredients
4 cups heavy cream
4 cups milk (whole or 2%)
16 ounces white chocolate chips
14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Green food coloring
Yellow food coloring
Optional toppings: whipped cream, mini marshmallows, sprinkles
Instructions
Add the heavy cream, milk, white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla extract to your slow cooker. Stir gently to combine.
Set the slow cooker to low for 2–3 hours, stirring every 20–30 minutes until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
Add a few drops of green and yellow food coloring until you reach your desired Grinch-inspired shade.
Keep the mixture on warm for serving. Pour into mugs and top with whipped cream, marshmallows, and sprinkles if desired.
Notes
For a lighter texture, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
Add peppermint schnapps or Bailey’s for an adult twist.
Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat gently before serving.
To thin the mixture, add a splash of milk until you reach your preferred consistency.
