Description

Ground Beef and Brussels Sprouts is a quick, flavorful skillet dinner made with savory ground beef, caramelized Brussels sprouts, and a sweet chili sauce finish—perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound lean ground beef

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • Kosher salt, to taste

  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

  • 1/3 cup green onions, thinly sliced

  • 2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce

  • 1 teaspoon sriracha (optional)

  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts, shredded

  • 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce

  • Juice of 1/2 lime

  • Sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and crumble as it cooks.

  2. Stir in green onions, garlic powder, salt, pepper, soy sauce, and sriracha if using. Cook until the beef is fully browned, then transfer to a plate.

  3. Add avocado oil to the same skillet. Add shredded Brussels sprouts, season with salt and pepper, and sauté until tender and caramelized.

  4. Return the ground beef to the skillet. Add sweet chili sauce and lime juice.

  5. Stir until everything is evenly coated and heated through.

  6. Garnish with sesame seeds if desired and serve warm.

Notes

Serve over rice, cauliflower rice, or noodles for a complete meal.

Skip the sriracha for a milder, kid-friendly version.

Leftovers keep well in the fridge for up to 3 days.
