Ingredients
Scale
- 1 can refrigerated pizza dough (or homemade dough)
- 8 mozzarella string cheese sticks (or 2 cups shredded mozzarella)
- 40 slices of pepperoni
- 3 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- Marinara sauce (for dipping)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface and cut it into 8 equal rectangles.
- Layer the fillings by placing 4-5 slices of pepperoni on each rectangle, then adding a mozzarella stick or shredded cheese.
- Seal the edges by rolling the dough around the cheese and pepperoni, pinching the sides to prevent cheese from leaking.
- Arrange on the baking sheet with the seam-side down.
- Brush with butter mixed with garlic powder and Italian seasoning for extra crispiness and flavor.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
- Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping and enjoy!
Notes
- To make pizza sticks extra crispy, bake them on a preheated baking sheet.
- Swap pepperoni for cooked sausage, ham, or a vegetarian option like mushrooms and bell peppers.
- For a spicy kick, add red pepper flakes to the butter mixture.
- Can be made ahead and frozen before baking—just add 3-5 minutes to the bake time when cooking from frozen.
