Description

These Slow Cooker Chicken Legs are tender, juicy, and coated in a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce that cooks low and slow to perfection. With just five simple ingredients and almost no prep, this recipe is the perfect busy-weeknight dinner your whole family will love.

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs chicken legs

  • ½ cup honey

  • ⅓ cup soy sauce

  • ¼ cup ketchup

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • Optional: chopped green onions or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Spray your slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray.

  2. Arrange the chicken legs in the bottom of the slow cooker.

  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, ketchup, and garlic.

  4. Pour the sauce evenly over the chicken legs.

  5. Cook on HIGH for 4 hours or LOW for 6 hours, until tender and fully cooked.

  6. Remove the chicken, spoon extra sauce over the top, and serve warm.

Notes

For crispier skin, broil the cooked chicken legs for 3–4 minutes.

Add red pepper flakes or sriracha for a sweet-spicy kick.

Great served over rice, mashed potatoes, or roasted vegetables.

Leftovers keep well up to 4 days in the fridge.
