  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Make the marinade: In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper until well combined.

  2. Layer the chicken: Place chicken breasts in a single layer at the bottom of your slow cooker.

  3. Add the marinade: Pour the lemon garlic mixture evenly over the chicken, making sure each piece is coated and topped with garlic and herbs.

  4. Cook: Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours, until chicken reaches 165°F and is tender.

Swap chicken breasts with thighs for extra juiciness.
