These Sticky Garlic Chicken Noodles are a quick, comforting, takeout-style dinner made with tender chicken, glossy garlic sauce, and slurpy noodles. Perfect for busy weeknights and full of bold, delicious flavor.
Ingredients
1 lb chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
1/4 cup soy sauce
3 tbsp honey
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp grated ginger
1/2 tsp red chili flakes (optional)
2 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp vegetable oil
8 oz noodles (rice noodles or egg noodles)
2 green onions, chopped
1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and chili flakes.
Toss the chicken pieces with cornstarch until evenly coated.
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add chicken and cook 6–8 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked.
Pour the sauce over the chicken and let it simmer 2–3 minutes until sticky and thickened.
Meanwhile, cook noodles according to package instructions; drain.
Add noodles to the skillet and toss to coat in the sticky garlic sauce.
Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
Use chicken thighs for extra tenderness.
Add veggies like broccoli, bell peppers, or snap peas for color and crunch.
If the sauce becomes too thick, add 1–2 tablespoons of water to loosen it.
For more spice, increase the chili flakes.
