Description

This Whipped Feta with Honey Dip is a creamy, sweet and savory appetizer made in just 5 minutes. Blended feta and cream cheese create a velvety base, topped with golden honey, crunchy pistachios, fresh herbs, and cracked pepper. Perfect for parties, brunch, or effortless entertaining.


Ingredients

  • 4 oz feta cheese

  • 4 oz cream cheese, room temperature

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • ½ teaspoon minced garlic

  • ½ teaspoon dried basil

  • ¼ cup honey

  • 1 tablespoon chopped pistachios

  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped chives

  • ½ teaspoon cracked black pepper

  • Warm pita bread, for serving


Instructions

  1. In a food processor, combine feta cheese, cream cheese, and olive oil. Blend until smooth and creamy.

  2. Add minced garlic and dried basil. Blend again until fully incorporated.

  3. Spoon the whipped feta mixture onto a shallow bowl or plate.

  4. Use the back of a spoon to create a well in the center.

  5. Pour honey into the well.

  6. Sprinkle chopped pistachios, chives, and cracked black pepper on top.

  7. Serve immediately with warm pita bread.

Notes

Use block feta instead of pre-crumbled for a smoother texture.

Let cream cheese come to room temperature before blending.

For a spicy twist, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.

The whipped feta base can be made up to 2 days in advance. Add honey and toppings just before serving.
