For the Sauce/Marinade

  • ¼ cup (85 g) honey
  • 3 tablespoons whole-grain mustard
  • 3 tablespoons smooth Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

For the Dish

  • 1 to 1 ½ pounds chicken thighs and drumsticks
  • ¾ pound (340 g) green beans, trimmed

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together honey, whole-grain mustard, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place chicken in a large resealable plastic bag. Pour marinade over chicken. Seal and massage to coat evenly.
  3. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best flavor.
  4. Preheat grill to high heat. Remove chicken from marinade and grill until fully cooked, turning occasionally.
  5. After removing chicken from the bag, add green beans to the remaining marinade and toss to coat.
  6. Grill green beans in a vegetable basket or sauté in a skillet until tender-crisp.
  7. Serve chicken and green beans together. Optional: prepare extra sauce for dipping or drizzling.

  • If grilling isn’t an option, bake at 400°F for 35–45 minutes or until chicken reaches 165°F internally.
