Description

Honey Lime Basil Peach Fruit Salad is a fresh, vibrant summer fruit salad made with juicy peaches, mixed berries, pomegranate, basil, honey, and lime. It’s light, refreshing, and ready in minutes—perfect for brunch, BBQs, or an easy weeknight treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large ripe (but not too ripe) yellow peaches, sliced
  • 1 cup blackberries
  • ¾ cup blueberries
  • Seeds from 1 medium pomegranate
  • 6 large fresh basil leaves, cut into thin ribbons
  • 12 teaspoons honey
  • Juice of ½ lime

Instructions

  1. Slice the peaches
Wash and slice peaches into wedges. Choose peaches that are ripe but still firm so they hold their shape.
  2. Add fruit to bowl
In a large mixing bowl, combine sliced peaches, blackberries, blueberries, and pomegranate seeds.
  3. Prepare the basil
Stack basil leaves, roll them tightly, and slice into thin ribbons. Add to the bowl.
  4. Drizzle honey and lime
Drizzle 1–2 teaspoons honey over the fruit. Squeeze in fresh lime juice.
  5. Toss gently
Using tongs or two spoons, toss carefully to combine without crushing the berries.
  6. Serve
Serve immediately, or let sit for 10–15 minutes to allow flavors to blend.

Notes

  • Start with 1 teaspoon honey if peaches are very sweet.
  • Add basil just before serving for best color and freshness.
  • Best served fresh but can be refrigerated up to 1–2 days.
  • If peaches are overly soft, use them for smoothies instead.
