  • Author: Mounia
  • Total Time: 2 hours 35 minutes
  • Yield: 10 servings 1x

Description

Slow Cooker Mississippi Mini Sausages are a buttery, tangy, savory appetizer made with Lit’l Smokies, ranch seasoning, au jus mix, and pepperoncini for an easy crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (28-ounce) package Lit’l Smokies
  • 1/4 cup pepperoncini juice
  • 1 (1-ounce) packet au jus gravy mix
  • 1 (1-ounce) packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cut into tablespoons
  • 6 pepperoncini peppers

Instructions

  1. Place the Lit’l Smokies in the bottom of a 6-quart slow cooker.
  2. Pour the pepperoncini juice over the sausages.
  3. Sprinkle the au jus gravy mix and ranch seasoning evenly on top.
  4. Add the butter pieces over the seasonings.
  5. Place the pepperoncini peppers on top.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 2 to 3 hours. Stir well before serving so the sauce coats the sausages evenly.

Notes

  • Use unsalted butter to keep the salt level from getting too high.
  • The pepperoncini juice adds tang more than heat.
  • These are best served warm straight from the slow cooker.
  • Great for parties, game day, potlucks, or an easy appetizer spread.
