Ingredients
  

Beef and Sauce

  • 2 pounds Beef stew meat or chuck roast, cut into chunks
  • 1 packet Dry onion soup mix
  • 1 packet Brown gravy mix
  • 1 can Cream of mushroom soup 10.5 oz
  • 1 can Cream of celery soup 10.5 oz
  • 1 cup Beef broth or water
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper

Optional Add-Ins

  • 1 cup Sliced mushrooms for extra flavor
  • 1 Small onion diced

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the onion soup mix, brown gravy mix, cream of mushroom soup, cream of celery soup, Worcestershire sauce, beef broth, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  • Place the beef stew meat and optional mushrooms in a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Pour the soup mixture over the beef and stir to coat evenly.
  • Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 hours. Remember, no peeking during cooking!
  • Once done, remove from the oven and let it sit for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles for a complete meal.
